Use: Electroplating grade active copper(II) oxide is mainly used in circuit board electroplating. Technical grade copper(II) oxide is mainly used in colorant for glass, enamel and ceramic and in raw material for magnetic materials. Moreover, it can be used in the production of firework, dye, catalyst and other copper salts.
Property: Molecular weight: 79.54. Black or brownish black powder. Density 6.3-6.9g/cm3, melting point 1326℃, insoluble in water and ethyl alcohol, soluble in acid, ammonium chloride and potassium cyanide solution, slowly soluble in ammonia solution.
